Labradorite - Songbird Healing Crystal Facts

Labradorite is a form of feldspar whose name is derived from the Labrador peninsula in Canada where it was found in the 1700's. It is still found in Canada as well as Madagascar, Mexico, Russia and the United States.  It is well known and treasured for its beautiful play of color (labradorescence), which shows flashes of green, blue, gold, orange and sometimes violet with violet being the rarest. 
Labradorite is a powerful Wind element stone and resonates with all chakras. It facilitates the enhancement of intuitive abilities including but not limited to clairvoyance, telepathy, astral travel, past-life recall, access to Akashic records and communication with spirit guides. 
Working with or wearing Labradorite creates a force field throughout your aura, protecting and strengthening the energies within and preventing others from tapping in to your personal energy and draining you. On the physical level, it can amplify your healing thoughts and prayers.
